The Miracle Wigglesworth Refused to Explain | Wigglesworth Faith

Short Summary: When an extraordinary, instantaneous miracle took place in one of his meetings, the crowd pleaded with Smith Wigglesworth to explain the exact spiritual "mechanism" behind it. He refused. In a world obsessed with formulas, techniques, and instant answers, Wigglesworth understood a deeper truth: demanding a complete explanation before trusting God actually destroys true faith. In this message, discover the story behind his silence and how resting in divine mystery unlocks genuine spiritual peace. When most Christians pray for a breakthrough, they wait for a sudden drop of supernatural power, assuming miracles are reserved for special people with unique spiritual gifts. Most believers know that God still does miracles. Almost none know the daily, practical mechanics required to actually host them. In this teaching, you will discover the five specific, non-negotiable habits Smith Wigglesworth practiced before every miracle he ever witnessed. You will learn why Romans 10:17 is not just a passing thought, but the foundational fuel required to build the fire of faith, and why faith cannot exist where the Word of God is absent. You will see what James 1:6-7 means when it warns that a wavering believer will receive nothing, and why making a "definite" decision on God's promise is the rock that sustains the miraculous. You will also understand why James 2:17 declares that faith without action is dead, and how Wigglesworth practically applied this by stepping out before he ever saw a physical change. You will discover the powerful truth of Galatians 5:6—that faith works through love—and why the delegated authority of the name of Jesus (Philippians 2:9-10) is the ultimate legal backing that makes every sickness and fear bow. If you have ever felt like your prayers are empty words, or wondered why a simple plumber could walk in such undeniable power while modern believers struggle to see answers, this message reveals the missing links in your spiritual chain. Once you understand how these five elements work together, you stop waiting for a magic formula and start plowing the ground for God to move. Stay until the end, because this teaching will challenge you to identify the exact link you have been leaving out of your own prayer life, giving you a clear, immediate action step to take today. This teaching is inspired by the life, bold theology, and unyielding trust of Smith Wigglesworth, exploring biblical authority, the power of the Word, and the believer's mandate to walk in faith. What You Will Learn: • Why Wigglesworth deliberately refused to break miracles down into repeatable formulas. • The trap of "formula-hunting" versus cultivating a genuine, living relationship with Christ. • How Deuteronomy 29:29 and Hebrews 11:1 explain the balance between revealed truth and divine mystery. • How to handle unanswered prayers and quiet seasons without losing your faith. • The posture of the blind man in John 9: standing on undeniable testimony rather than complicated explanations.
