Protecting and restoring tropical forests requires finance — and action — at scale. The Architecture for REDD+ Transactions (ART) helps governments unlock that finance by certifying high-integrity emission reductions and removals across entire countries and states, with strong social and environmental safeguards. Today, 27 jurisdictions across Africa, Asia and the Americas participate in ART’s program, together spanning more than 1 billion acres — roughly a quarter of the world’s tropical forests.
