🇯🇵 I’m Japanese, and I LOVE Japan… but there are some things about Japanese society that seriously drive me crazy!
I was born and raised in Japan, and after traveling to more than 16 countries and studying abroad in 4 countries, I still believe Japan is an amazing place to live.
But that doesn’t mean everything about Japan is perfect.
In today’s video, I’m sharing 4 things that genuinely frustrate me about Japan and Japanese society — from unrealistic customer service expectations to complicated communication and the pressure to fit in.
And yes, even Japanese people struggle with these things!
I’m not here to say Japan is a bad country. I love my country, but I think it’s important to talk about both the good and the bad sides of Japanese culture.
💬 What about you?
