Create advanced animated and dynamic grids in After Effects with Gridflow — an AE script that gives you full control over your grid animation. With Gridflow, you can create editable grid rigs, animate the number of lines, control spacing with curves, add custom intersection shapes, and attach precomps directly to the grid. In this video, I'll show you how Gridflow works and take you through all its main features. Features: • Create animated grid rigs in After Effects • Animate horizontal and vertical grid lines • Control exactly how grid spacing changes • Create non-symmetrical and dynamic grid layouts • Add and animate intersection shapes • Use your own custom shapes • Attach precomps to the grid • Multiple flow modes — Attached, Window, Fit and Stretch • Create and manage multiple grids • Keep everything fully editable and keyframeable This is the first version of Gridflow, and more features are currently in development. I'll also be creating another tutorial soon where I'll use Gridflow in a real project to show how it can be used in an actual workflow. 00:00 Introduction 00:30 Creating & Managing Grids 02:00 Animating Grid Lines 03:10 Intersection Shapes & Custom Shapes 04:50 Advanced Spacing Control 06:40 Attaching Items to the Grid 09:06 Panel & Other Options 10:17 Final Thoughts #AfterEffects #AEScript #GridAnimation
