Webber Wentzel Africa Legal Awards Video

Webber Wentzel won the 2021, African Legal Award for ESG Initiative of the Year. The award was won off the back of the firm's work in supporting government and businesses in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. The firm's work included kickstarting and managing the national ventilator project, which built of 20 000 non-invasive ventilators for use in South Africa. The firm also supported the national Department of Health in relation to all contractual matters and regulatory matters related to its vaccination programme. Managing partner, Sally Hutton and team lead and partner Robert Appelbaum accepted the award ESG Initiative of the Year on behalf of the firm. #ESG #AfricaLegalAwards
