6 OBSCURE RETRO HORROR FLICKS You NEED TO KNOW ABOUT!

Six VHS-era horror films that took the long way to reach you — buried before release, nearly abandoned mid-shoot, bootlegged under fake names, or so rare they built their own doomed distribution company around them. Tonight's weekend watchlist digs through the delayed-release erotic-horror oddity The Black Room, teenage shot-on-video slasher Day of the Reaper, Fred Olen Ray's scrappy creature feature Biohazard, Joe Spinell's long-lost final film The Undertaker, Italy's shoestring Evil Dead riff Evil Clutch, and the genuinely hard-to-find slasher 555. If you grew up digging through the horror aisle for tapes with a story behind the story, this one's for you. 00:00 555 edit 01:25 The Black Room (1982) 04:30 Day of the Reaper (1984) 07:29 Biohazard (1985) 10:52 The Undertaker (1988) 13:30 Evil Clutch (1988) 16:12 555 (1988) 18:55 Trivia Speed Round! #GENXHORROR #RETROHORROR #OBSCUREHORROR
