My first thought on seeing the new raio cards was "this would be perfect for whims" and I was right, the free pp recover from unleashed allows for powerful spell combos with wizardess of oz as early as turn 6, 5 if you have a sagacious core up. And the big bad raio himself also helps turn your deck into perfect top decks making all cards cost 1 which can be abused even further with draw support. His evolve effect clearing almost any board the opponent may have also helps support this massive tempo swing playstyle. This variation takes it a bit differently by trying to abuse raio's fanfare to make the Cocytus deck a powerful win condition. Astaroth's reckoning looks a lot more appealing when it costs 1 instead of 10. Unfortunately this still requires the whims RNG to go your way in order to combo Cocytus into raio and then wait another turn to abuse the 1pp Cocytus deck. This could be remedied with Dshift but then the Cocytus raio board kills anyway so what's the point of Cocytus. Clearly this is meant as a cooler alternative to the usual unbodies shift prophetess whims that abuse imagination/raio. Oh funny thing to mention, the old Raio I have in here is purely for flavor and actually spellboosts nothing in the deck and doesn't play the second part of his fanfare animation because of that. Just a fun little detail I noticed with him.
