📺 VBTV: The April 28th Edition (2026) 🐾

While some groups are already checking out and looking toward the end of the year, VBTV is keeping the energy high for late April! This week’s broadcast is packed with high-stakes investigations, dugout secrets, and a nostalgic trip down memory lane as the school year enters the home stretch. 🎥🏫 One word to describe this broadcast is TUFF! The Leadoff Man: Tigers Fever 🐅⚾ The crack of the bat is back! In our brand-new segment, The Leadoff Man, we’re getting a student fan’s perspective on the start of the Detroit Tigers' 2026 season with our very own Braden Heeres. From opening day hype to the early-season standings, Braden breaks down what it’s like to bleed orange and navy in the halls of Vicksburg. Is this finally the year the Tigers roar into October? Get the fan-fave takes on the roster, the atmosphere at Comerica Park, and why baseball season is the best time of the year. VBTV Investigates: The Pasta Bar Controversy 🍝🔍 It’s the story everyone is whispering about in the hallways: the pasta bar has changed, and the feedback is boiling over. Students are noticing the taste just isn't the same, and the outcry for the "old noodles" is growing louder by the day. In this hard-hitting segment, VBTV Investigates goes into the heart of the cafeteria to find out what really changed. Is it a new supplier, a different recipe, or a culinary mystery? We’re interviewing the students who want their favorite comfort food back and asking the tough questions. It’s a deep dive into the noodles that fuel our school—don't miss the verdict! VBTV Sports: Varsity Baseball Spotlight ⚾🔥 Spring season is in full swing, and we’re stepping up to the plate with an exclusive look at Vicksburg Varsity Baseball! We’re sitting down with Coach Brian Deal to talk about the mid-season grind, the team's grit, and the goals for the rest of the 2026 season. From the dugout to the diamond, see what it takes to lead the Bulldogs during the most intense stretch of the year. Hear directly from the players about the team chemistry and the drive to bring home a championship this May. Photos and videos by Erica Centofanti Comedy: Spring Break Interrupted ✈️🎤 We tried to do a simple segment asking students about their legendary Spring Break trips... but the crew had other plans. Watch the chaos unfold as our "professional" interviews are deliberately sabotaged by the VBTV crew. From boom mics "accidentally" dropping into frame to crew members walking through shots with snacks and loud conversations, these students just wanted to talk about their vacations—and we wouldn't let them. It’s a hilarious look at the behind-the-scenes madness that happens when the crew gets a little too bored. Teacher Tunes: The Graduation Remix 🎧🎓 With graduation season right around the corner, we’re throwing it back with Teacher Tunes! We’ve tracked down the graduation years of your favorite staff members and paired them with the #1 hits from that era. From 80s synth-pop and 90s grunge to the early 2000s R&B era, see which teachers had the best taste in music back when they were in your shoes. It’s a sonic time machine that proves some hits truly are timeless!
