A slide presentation will demonstrate the frequency and phase response of speakers placed properly and improperly in a room. Integrating subwoofers with the main speaker system for both stereo and surrounds systems will be covered. There will be a discussion of what types of acoustic treatments to use a room and how to determine where those treatments will best serve the listener. Slide examples will be shown exhibiting results from proper use of acoustic treatments. Equalization techniques will also be included. Common misconceptions will be discussed. and there will be a period for attendee questions.
