Amish Mom Who Reportedly Drowned Son Enters Insanity Plea

On Monday, Ruth Miller was in court for an arraignment. The judge read her an indictment which consisted of seven counts. Miller, an Amish woman, allegedly intentionally drove a golf cart into a lake with her kids on board and killed her 4-year-old son. The defense told the judge they would be entering a plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. The judge ordered Miller to be held in jail until she can have a bond hearing.
