Gorillaz - Pirate's Progress x Pirate Jet Feat. Sinfonía ViVA (Mix)

Some time ago, I created my video "Pirate Jet: The Definitive Cut", in which I recreated the transition between "Pirate's Progress" and "Pirate Jet." Over time, I’ve improved the way I master my edits, so I decided to redo the transition from scratch; ironically, it turned out to be much easier now that I’ve refined my techniques. Basically, this edit transitions between the two songs based on the TMOPB snippet (courtesy of ‪@moltenfreddy2014‬):    • Gorillaz - Pirate Jet (Original Demo) [Sni...   However, I didn't use that snippet in this edit because it’s too difficult to clean up enough to make it blend perfectly with the rest of the song. I only used it here for the foundation of the transition and the drums. Also, the snippet is missing a bar—something I discovered by boosting the volume at the start of "Pirate Jet," where you can hear the snippet's drums plus an extra bar of drumming. I recreated the drums by sampling the ones from the end of "Pirate's Progress" to ensure everything matched, and I recreated the orchestral parts from the snippet using sections of "Pirate's Progress." I hope you like this edit as much as I enjoyed making it; it was a simple edit, but very effective and necessary to complement "Pirate Jet," as I always felt the song had more potential.
