How to Floc a Pool with Aluminum Sulfate

If your pool water is having major issues than sometimes it’s better to start over. Adding powder aluminum sulfate, which is a flocculent aka “floc” is a way to drop all your dirt and dissolved materials to the bottom. First use the recirculate on your filter to mix the powder, distributing evenly from the deep end to the shallow on the return side. Next, put your filter in closed position. Lastly, vacuum to waste the next morning.
