This NEW MACHINE Changes EVERYTHING at Our Sawmill!

We just found a NEW way to turn sawmill waste into MONEY! Today’s adventure starts with a phone call from a friend who has some pine logs from a clearing job. Of course, we couldn’t pass that up! A loose hub and missing axle key bring everything to a halt. Fortunately, we get it jacked up, repaired, and back to work! With the logs finally unloaded, it’s time to finish assembling the DH8, size the PTO shaft, add the oil, and get everything ready for its first run. Bonnie joins me for the first test, and then it’s time to see what this chipper can REALLY do! We start by cleaning up some overgrown trees along our fence line before moving over to the sawmill slab pile for the BIG test. Can this machine turn all those leftover slabs and scraps into a pile of usable, potentially profitable wood chips?
