Mississippi River Smallmouth & Largemouth Wouldn't Stop Eating Topwater

Nonstop bass fishing action on the Mississippi River! In this video, we get into a strong bite and catch both smallmouth and largemouth bass on a variety of topwater baits and chatterbaits. The fish were actively feeding in the backwaters and current seams, and once we figured out what they were chasing, the bite turned on. We caught Mississippi River smallmouth on a Spook and chatterbait, including a solid 3-pound smallmouth, then found largemouth crushing shad on poppers farther back in the sloughs. I also break down the chatterbait setup that was producing, including the white shad trailer, chartreuse Dip-N-Glo tail, and slow-rolling retrieve that helped us get bit.
