YOU’RE NOT THE BLACK SHEEP… YOU’RE THE SET-APART ONE

If you’ve ever felt like the black sheep of your family, misunderstood, overlooked, unqualified, or simply different—this message is for you. David was overlooked by his own family. When Samuel came looking for the one God had chosen, David wasn’t even considered important enough to be called in from the field. Yet God saw what everyone else missed. Sometimes being different isn’t rejection—it’s preparation. God may call you to walk differently, think differently, live differently, and even separate from patterns that have existed in your family for generations. You may not look qualified to people. You may not fit the expectations they have for you. You may be misunderstood because they cannot see what God placed inside of you. But being overlooked by people does not mean you are overlooked by God. This is your reminder to stop apologizing for being different. Stop shrinking because people don’t understand your calling.
