Lower Comanche Cave - Palo Duro Canyon State Park

This is the first video in a series called “Don’t hike the Lighthouse”. There are so many other places in the state park that are easy to access and just as spectacular. This cave is a gem hidden in plain sight. Thousands of people hike and bike across it unknowingly. It’s located 0.86 miles from the Mesquite Campground – Lower Comanche Trail access point. It’s second in size only to the Rush Springs Cave and is about the same size as the Burnt Draw Cave. Caves in Palo Duro Canyon are unstable, enter at your own risk.
