Abang Maria

'ABANG MARIA' A song of surrender, a prayer wrapped in melody, composed by Fr. Manoling Francisco, SJ, and made even more moving through the arrangement of Maestro Ferdinand Bautista. At Harana Kay Maria in Turo, Bocaue, Bulacan, we, the Voice of the Holy Rosary, offered this hymn as a tribute to the woman who said yes. A “yes” that changed the course of salvation. A “yes” born not of power, but of humility. In every breath, in every note, we resound the cry of the lowly handmaid: “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord.” Through this song, may our voices carry not just harmony, but hope, and a willingness to follow the call, like Mary did.
