Rajkot to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar | Rajkot to Aurangabad Night Drive | Roving Family In January 2025, we embarked on an exciting road trip from Rajkot to Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar (Aurangabad), covering 800 km in 20 hours. We left Rajkot at 4 PM and traveled through towns like Bagodara, Vasad, Bharuch, Surat, Bardoli, Vyara, Songadh, Navapur, Sakri, Dhule, and Chalisgaon, before reaching Ellora and finally arriving in Aurangabad the next day around 12 PM. Highlight of the trip was crossing the scenic Chalisgaon Ghat, with its winding roads and stunning views. Along the way, we also dealt with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) issue in our Hyundai Creta, but successfully completed a DPF regeneration on the road to ensure smooth performance. This journey was full of ups and downs, but it was also filled with beautiful landscapes, roadside stops and the excitement of driving through diverse terrains.
