Across the world, young entrepreneurs are launching innovative businesses and creating jobs within their communities. However, many face challenges in expanding beyond their local markets due to limited access to finance, business networks, skills development opportunities, and market connections. As are result, many promising businesses struggle to reach their full potential. This session will bring together representatives from development organisations, the private sector, youth leaders, and entrepreneurs to discuss practical ways of supporting youth-led businesses. Particular attention will be given to how young entrepreneurs can connect with broader markets, supply chains, and business networks that help businesses grow, become more competitive, and create sustainable employment opportunities. Through this dialogue, EAA aims to highlight the important role young entrepreneurs play in driving innovation, creating jobs, and contributing to stronger and more resilient economies.
