Nick McMillen (Part 2): Recreating the Apple Lisa with the Apple Franken-Lisa Project!

Can you 3D print and build a full-scale Apple Lisa replica from scratch? This is part 2 of the Classic Computing Interview Session, with host David Greelish and Nick McMillen to discuss his ambitious "Apple Franken-Lisa" project. If you'd like to support my work, consider buying me a coffee. Your generosity helps cover the costs of research, filming, editing and producing new videos for everyone to enjoy. https://buymeacoffee.com/davidulc Discover how Nick bypassed standard hobbyist monitors to modify a 15-inch display using a custom-coded Python/Linux layer, engineered a vintage-themed operating system picker (launching System 7.5 and Lisa EM!), and adapted modern peripherals to look like vintage Apple gear. Nick also shares his journey from building early web games to mass-acquiring vintage computers, his philosophy on collecting versus hoarding, and a fascinating look into his upcoming open-source command-line OS project, Tetra.
