Great Yarmouth Market Place Shops - EMPTY - Part 2 (October 2026)

Walking through Great Yarmouth Market Place in July 2026 to see the current state of the high street. Despite the massive £5.8 million regeneration project, new paving, and the creation of a modern public piazza, many of the surrounding retail shops and historic commercial units remain completely empty. Fast forward to October 2026, and I am back for a follow-up walkthrough. Unfortunately, absolutely nothing has changed. The units are still vacant, footfall is low, and the town centre continues to struggle despite the heavy council investment.
