Walking the GM Ringway | Manchester City Centre to Sale Water Park

Join me as I walk GM Ringway Stage 1 from Manchester City Centre to Sale Water Park in Greater Manchester with my friend, Leanne. This GM Ringway walk takes us from the heart of Manchester out towards Sale Water Park, following a route that combines the city's history, canals, waterways and parks. GM Ringway Stage 1 is approximately 12.1 km (7.5 miles) and runs from Manchester city centre to Sale Water Park tram stop. GM RINGWAY STAGE 1 The GM Ringway is a long-distance walking trail around Greater Manchester, covering all ten boroughs and made up of 20 stages. The full trail is around 200 miles and explores a mixture of urban areas, canals, rivers, parks, countryside, nature and historic places.
