PaleyImpact: 9/11 Through the Media Lens: 25 Years Later

The Paley Museum, in collaboration with the National September 11 Memorial & Museum, presents a special conversation marking the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. Bringing together a distinguished panel of journalists, historians, and photographers who covered the attacks firsthand, as well as voices who later documented, analyzed and reflected on that tragic day. This discussion explores personal experiences from that day, how the news was reported across media platforms in 2001, and the role of journalism in documenting tragedy, shaping public understanding. The conversation also covers how journalism has evolved in the decades since, and why preserving these accounts remains essential for future generations.
