"백성들아 시시로 그를 의지하고 그의 앞에 마음을 토하라 하나님은 우리의 피난처시로다" (시편 62:8) 가을 오후, 오래된 우체국 앞 벤치에 앉아 있습니다. 차마 누구에게도 꺼내지 못한 이야기를 한 자 한 자 편지에 적어 주님께 보냅니다. 잘 정리된 기도가 아니어도 괜찮습니다. 걱정도, 눈물 번진 마음도, 멀리 돌아온 발걸음도 주님은 다 읽어 주십니다. 그리고 편지 끝에는 늘 같은 답장이 있습니다. "내가 영원한 사랑으로 너를 사랑하노라." (예레미야 31:3) 혹시 지금 기도할 말을 찾지 못하고 있다면 이 노래들이 대신 기도가 되어 주면 좋겠어요. 주님은 우리가 말하기도 전에 이미 다 알고 계시니까요. 오늘도 당신의 일상에 사랑과 평안이 머물기를 바랍니다. 🌿 Dear Jesus, it's me again. There were nights I sat down with a cold pen and couldn't write the first line, even as my coffee went cold. There were days I smiled and pretended I was fine, and days the words got stuck and all I could do was erase. "Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge." (Psalm 62:8) It's an autumn afternoon, and I'm sitting on a bench outside an old post office. The things I could never tell anyone, I'm writing down one word at a time and sending them to Him. They don't have to be perfect prayers. The worries, the tear-stained pages, the long way home, He reads every single one. And at the bottom of each letter, there's always the same reply: "I have loved you with an everlasting love." (Jeremiah 31:3) If you can't find the words to pray right now, I hope these songs can be your prayer for a while. He already knows what's on your heart, even before you say a word.
