Honestly? I hiked for a full two hours, and by the end my legs were shaking.
Just 27 minutes by ferry from Central, Hong Kong has an island with no cars at all — Lamma Island. 🏝 And there are no shortcuts: if you want to get from Yung Shue Wan to Sok Kwu Wan, you walk it.
This 111-minute 4K POV is the completely uncut record of that round-island hike: landing at Yung Shue Wan, drifting through village houses, a tiny market and murals, then onto the shaded Lamma Family Trail; a few minutes of rest at Hung Shing Yeh Beach, then up the stone steps to catch sunset — the Central skyline silhouetted on the water — before descending through quiet hillside hamlets to Sok Kwu Wan, where the seafood street is already lit, and waiting for the ferry home.
It's tiring. And I cut nothing, added nothing: you can hear me breathing harder and harder, my shoes slipping on wet stone, and the few words I managed to mutter on the climbs. No filter, no music bed — just one person's actual point of view after two hours on foot.
One route, five scenes: ferry, fishing village, beach, mountain trail at golden hour, and a seafood dinner street. No talking, no music — just waves, cicadas, footsteps on stone, and my own breathing.
What's in it:
⛴️ HKKF ferry ride — Central Pier 4, skyline sliding away from the deck
🏘️ Yung Shue Wan village — village houses, a tiny market, murals
🏖️ Hung Shing Yeh Beach — the only place I actually allowed myself to stop
⛰️ The full Family Trail — ~6 km, done in 2 hours without a real break
🌅 Sunset from the ridge — Central's skyline as a silhouette on the water
🦞 Sok Kwu Wan seafood street — the fishing village at night
🎧 Real audio, no cleanup — the heavy breathing in the second half is all still there
📷 Uncut POV — 111 minutes in full, nothing trimmed, including the wrong turns and the staring around
