File originally named: "gfsegmented0 chip" Inspired by a recent comment, I decided to list this. This is the current progress on the G-Force segmented run, done on Special Agent difficulty. Solid progress was made about a year ago over the period of six months, but halted once we (I) hit a road block. This run iteration is more of a proof of concept now, showing what kind of time can be achieved from Training to Chip Production. I'm afraid this run is soft locked. If we try to continue this save, we will lose a bunch of time, so I'm declaring this iteration dead and the 250GB of footage to be scrapped. (Yes, you heard that number right.) It was fun in retrospect, but a pain in the ass to grind. Please read this disclaimed below. Cheers! This segmented run is legit, except this video isn't. Let me explain. Around 23:26, there is a clip that is so hard to get, it takes hours to try and grind it. I ground that very short segment for 5 hours, and only got it maybe 4 or 5 times. So everything up to the cinematic looking down the corridor legitimately, and everything after that as well. However, the footage is spliced, so it wasn't a fluid run, since the run is dead for now, and the actual run would have only the fluid legit footage. You have NO IDEA how enfuriating it is to grind a strat with such a low change of success for hours, and then to get it. Only to fall into an endless void and have the game crash (because it's hard to react in time once you get the clip), or get one hit killed by a shredder (because SA difficulty) due to stupid RNG and an unnecessary cinematic cutscene. I will be uploading the fully legitimate run soon (without the timestamp sadly), however it only goes up until the beginning of the Production Facility, and I don't feel like fixing a Vegas project file and re-rendering the run. Feel free to download the two YouTube videos and mux them if you wish to learn from them. Cheers, -LongtimeNorunner
