In today's video CedMosive reacts to Episode 1 of DC Studios Lanterns! In this episode, in the year 2016 we are introduced to the new Green Lantern recruit John Stewart who has been training under the veteran Lantern, Hal Jordan for 2 months. After a fatal shooting in the small town of Rushville Nebraska, Jordan sets out to prove this was an extra-terrestrial event. The first Green Lantern comic featuring the sci-fi version of the character Hal Jordan, first debuted in October 1959 during the Silver Age Reboot. It was created by John Broome and Gil Kane. It was the Silver Age Green Lantern that introduced the mythology surrounding the Green Lantern Corps. Hal Jordan was a test pilot and one day while using a flight simulator, Jordan was brought to the dying Green Lantern of Sector 2814, Abin Sur, and was given the ring and its responsibilities as the first human Green Lantern of the Green Lantern Corps. Later in December 1971 the new Green Lantern, John Stewart, was introduced. Created by writer Dennis O’Neil and artist Neal Adams. He debuted as a backup for Hal Jordan and became one of DC’s first prominent Black Superheroes. Season 1 Episode 1 was directed by James Hawes and written by Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King. This DC Studios Television series has a very talented cast featuring the actors, Aaron Pierre as John Stewart, Kyle Chandler as Hal Jordan, Kelly Macdonald as Sheriff Kerry Kane, Garret Dillahunt as William Macon, Poorna Jagannathan as Zoe Macon, J.
