I DROVE FROM AMSTERDAM TO SYRIA BY CAR 🇳🇱➡️🇸🇾 The journey from Amsterdam to Damascus has officially begun. In this first episode, we leave the Netherlands and start driving thousands of kilometers towards Syria. What was supposed to be a straightforward road trip quickly turns into one problem after another. We install a new inverter at the last minute, bring a bigger air conditioner (which turns out to be a terrible idea 😂), deal with a transmission warning, search Croatia for another AC, and drive through the night across Europe. We make our way through Germany, Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria and Greece before finally reaching Turkey. Along the way, we meet Lucas, another traveler who happens to be traveling back from Syria, and end up camping together. We also experience our first major car problems when the bumper flies off and we start questioning whether this BMW is actually going to make it all the way to Damascus.
