An omnicidal pretty boy with mama issues vs. a crazed demon-beast with mama issues. It's the match-up of the century!

Accessories:
Hyper Ring
Muscle Belt
Sniper Eye
Battle Hammer
HP = 100%
Large Gap in HP
No Damage
Empty Assist Gauge

Center of the World
Thought I'd up the ante by doing a few more of these. I probably won't try this with every character, but just a few (including some ones that I always wanted to redo for various reasons anyway). The lack of an assist does kind of hurt, I admit, as I'm rather fond of extending combos with assists, plus they're just so easy to build in this fight. No EXP to ___ does also hurt several of the other strategies I have advocated for this particular fight. Lastly, I'm also going to forego using any summonstones for these rematches, although this isn't that big of a deal for me since I rarely use them anyway.
Center of the World is mostly there just to keep my assist gauge empty (otherwise, I'd still gain Full Assist Charges even if I used other accessories to lower my assist charge rate). While CotW does help me get my EX bar filled a little faster, given my multiplier builds it's still much weaker than even a simple Pearl Necklace or something.
Anyway, Sephiroth still has a pretty easy time with this fight. Feral Chaos still has a terrible time dodging Octaslash on the ground (although it rarely hits in mid-air). Scintilla is also fantastic as a follow-up after wall rushing him, since he usually just runs Destroy right into it, but I didn't bother with it because it was too slow to chip away like that since didn't do enough brv damage. Heaven's Light is a great counter to Lux Magnus (provided you have enough horizontal distance to not get zapped), but sadly that didn't come up. Hell's Gate would have been nice for style points, but it's not particularly effective in this fight since it doesn't wall rush.
Shadow Flare is still good for baiting the AI to dodge right into Sudden Cruelty or Oblivion, of course. And Feral Chaos's AI still can't handle Fervent Blow very well. Oh well.
I intentionally used up my current brv and didn't take as much advantage of the brv freeze from Shinryuu as I could have (i.e. get to 9999 brv and spam Octaslash) because that would have felt too much like a repeat of last time. I'll settle for just 5k damage off of an EX burst.
