The BCD uses a new harness that provides extra freedom of movement within the bladder but also a more secure fit by moving the point where the shoulder straps meet the waist further back. The X-Black is fully padded with lumber support, cushioned backpad and padded shoulder straps. The bladder is fitted with Scubapro's AirFlex system that allows it to expand and contract as the BCD is inflated or deflated to provide additional lift capacity without squeezing the diver or creating extra drag. The X-Black is fitted with numerous alloy d-rings, side pockets, an octopus pocket, BCD knife grommets, integrated weight system, trim weight pockets, super cinch cylinder strap, improved dump valves and updated balanced inflator.
