Reasi: Salal Dam's Gates Closed

All gates of the Salal Dam in Reasi have been closed following a significant decline in the water level of the Chenab River. At present, excess water is being released only through the silt gallery, while a considerable reduction in river flow has also been observed in downstream areas.
