Leaving the roaring falls behind, the route transitions deep into the wilderness along the lush forest stretches of Chimmony Wildlife Sanctuary all the way to Chimmony Dam. The peaceful reservoir views and untouched jungle tarmac made this stretch pure riding bliss. Rolling into Palakkad by evening, our first priority was hitting up the legendary NMR Restaurant to dive into their famous Rawther Biryani—a flavorful, rich culinary staple beloved by locals. The next morning, we took a slow walk through the peaceful streets of Kalpathy, a centuries-old heritage Brahmin Agraharam steeped in deep-rooted traditions, classic architecture, and untouched cultural vibes. From vintage calmness, it was straight into high-octane adventure: an intense, technical off-road climb tackling rocky trails up to Karadipara Viewpoint, opening up to breathtaking panoramic valley vistas and sweeping wind turbine plains. Finally, we reached the ultimate grand finale of the journey—Kava in Palakkad. Sitting beside the bike as the lake transformed into nature's giant mirror under the golden sunset was truly unreal.
