I'm finally in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, and this is the last stop of my whole Armenia series 🇦🇲 It turned out to be one of the most walkable, artistic, and surprisingly ancient capital cities I've explored, older than Rome itself, and I spend this entire video covering it point by point on foot. I start the day riding Yerevan's Soviet-era metro into the city center, then dive straight into the local Armenian Market, where I find fresh produce, dried fruit sweets, and sellers who never once pressure you to buy. From there I walk through Republic Square, past 3000 year old history and government buildings, before hitting Northern Avenue with its painted facades and underground shopping malls that make this feel like one of the cleanest, most artistic city centers I've seen anywhere. The real highlight of the day is the Cascade, this massive multi-level stone stairway covered in modern sculptures, art galleries, and even a giant Cybertruck randomly parked at the bottom 😂 I climb all the way up (well, mostly by elevator, not judging anyone who takes the stairs in that heat) for one of the best panoramic views of Yerevan you'll get anywhere in the city. I also talk about why Armenia, despite being a small developing country of just 3 million people, manages to pull in so many tourists, and it really comes down to how clean, fairly priced, and welcoming everything here is. Toward the end I pick up some last-minute snacks and printouts because tomorrow I'm crossing into Georgia, a border that's known for being tricky for Indian travellers, so that uncertainty is already setting in as this Armenia leg wraps up. If you've been following this Armenia series, thank you so much for watching, this country genuinely surprised me from Gyumri all the way to here. Hit like and subscribe if you want to see how the Georgia border crossing goes, and let me know in the comments which Armenian city from this series was your favourite.
