Trouble maker triplets!

Aslan, Amelia & Alexander might be the funniest kids we have ever had. They have so much fun together getting up to all sorts of trouble. I am so happy that they are going to their new home together at eight weeks old —for now we are so enjoying, watching them play! Last night was the first night we let Thistle rejoin the herd and her babies slept on their own. This way they learn to eat grain and hay and drink water. It is our gentle method of preparing the kids to be weaned and we are able to milk the mama partially before returning her to her kids in the morning. No one made a peep until 6:00 am which tells me they were ready! This morning I got enough milk to make the first fudge of the season! It will be a reward for everyone braving the rain tomorrow to visit the kids for Put the Babies to Bed Night!
