2026 Bloody 11W Race

The Bloody 11W Race is a journey run that covers the entire 111 miles of Hwy 11W from Knoxville to Bristol. The race is held each year over Labor Day weekend. It starts on Saturday morning and runners have 3dsys to complete either the 111 miles or a 100 mile ‘fun run’. There is no cost, although donations are accepted to offset the cost for the race directors Diane and Jan as well as the volunteers. I ran the race in 2026 along with my daughter Sydney. My wife Eve crewed us. Sydney’s previous longest distance was 10 miles but she made it 40 miles before dropping. I finished in a little over 48 hrs.
