Originally from Portugal and called vinha-d’alho there, Vindaye is very common is Mauritius, India specially in Goa (known as Vindaloo) and United Kingdom (as Vindaloo spicy curry). Here it is usually made from fish, but in this recipe, i use chicken instead.Vindaye poisson or Fish Vindaye can be made the same way. This recipe does not use Wine Vinegar, hence make it halal.
