UTA College of Business Welcomes Greg Barron to the College of Business Hall of Fame

Greg Barron ('91) was inducted into the College of Business Hall of Fame Inaugural Class on Friday, October 16, 2026. Greg Barron is an entrepreneur, investor and founder of The Barron Companies, a family of businesses spanning commercial construction, engineering, architecture, real estate development and financial technology. Over his four-decade career, Barron has launched, acquired and grown companies responsible for more than $750 million in transactional projects across 16 states. His work has earned more than a dozen state and national awards in design, construction and development. He has served as president of the College of Business Advisory Board and supported UTA through advisory roles, financial contributions and partnerships that bring real-world business tools into the classroom. An entrepreneur fueled by curiosity and defined by generosity, he has made a lasting impact on the college, supporting students through scholarship funding and inviting them to participate in the development of new real-estate software that advances the industry.
