Cobra 3DP MB vs My Cobra King MB! Forgiving, BUT Can The Price Be Justified?

Cobra 3DP MB vs Cobra MB: Is the 3D Printed Muscleback Actually More Forgiving? If you love the look and feel of a blade, you already know the trade-off… 🔥 Pure strikes feel incredible — but anything off-centre? Punished. In this video, we put the new Cobra 3DP MB head-to-head against a traditional forged Cobra MB to answer one key question: 👉 Can a 3D printed muscleback actually be more forgiving without losing that classic blade feel? ⛳ What we cover in this test: Traditional blade performance (Cobra MB baseline) Real-world miss patterns (toe, heel, thin, heavy) Ball speed + carry comparisons Feel differences (forged vs 3D printed) How the Latis cavity + 3D printing changes weight distribution Peak height, stopping power & consistency Whether the extra £££ is actually worth it 📊 Key findings: The 3DP MB maintains ball speed better on mishits Carries stayed stronger — even from toe/heel strikes Around +5 yards average gain vs traditional MB Noticeably more consistent results across imperfect strikes Still delivers that soft, blade-like feel (even off-centre) 👉 In short: it keeps bad swings playable 💸 The big question: Value At around £1,800–£2,000, this isn’t a small upgrade. So it comes down to: Do you need more forgiveness in a blade? Will it actually improve your on-course consistency? Or would a cheaper, more forgiving iron suit you better? 🎯 Who is this for? Golfers who LOVE blades but struggle with consistency Low handicappers wanting forgiveness without switching to CBs Anyone curious if 3D printing is more than just marketing hype 🧪 If you're considering these: Test your misses, not just your perfect shots. That’s where this club proves its value. 👍 Like, comment & subscribe More honest gear tests coming — no hype, just real data. #Golf #CobraGolf #Blades #GolfIrons #ClubFitting #GolfEquipment ⛳ About Outtabounds Golf Outtabounds Golf delivers honest golf reviews, expert insights, and modern golf education.
