This is day 294 of my daily SnowRunner Hard Mode Play-through.
In this episode, after the disappointing end to yesterday, we switch to the trucks still in NAI, and aim to complete the outstanding contract in NAI, and then bring them back to Urska River where we still have the Conquering Summits contest to do. We start in the TUZ 420 Tartarin at the Railway Station in NAI, and bring it back to the Fuel Station to refuel, and then hop down to the river's edge to make our way over to where the Tayga 6436 is waiting. We then convoy both trucks back to the Urska River Gateway where we leave the Tayga for now, and head back along the little path nearby to find the Khan Lo4F for the Evacuation Point contract. We winch/tow it back to the drop off point to complete this contract, then join up with the Tayga again to return to Urska River. Once there, the Tayga heads down to the frozen river's edge, whilst the Tartarin does the Conquering Summits contest (in which we manage bronze ... but do get it done). The Tartarin then also returns back down the Eastern road to join the Tayga and STEP 310E on the icy river's edge before refuelling and heading on to meet up with the ZIKZ 605R and (after a bit of a struggle) managed to get the trailer off the ZiKZ, and then used the ZiKZ to drag it around and eventually reattach it and head on around to the Loading Zone to complete the Carrier Rocket Carrier contract.
We finally swapped to the Azov 73210 in Cosmodrome and brought it (and the long log back-end trailer) back to the Garage in Cosmodrome where we unconfigured it, as we are expecting to use the Tayga 6436 to do the final run of Long Logs in Urska River for the Closer to Heaven task.
I am playing with the standard Snow Runner Hard Mode rules:
You have to pay for your fuel & repairs;
You have to pay for your vehicle deployment;
You have to pay for your vehicle recovery;
You have to pay every time you load cargo automatically;
You are not able to sell your trailers and semi-trailers;
You sell your trucks and equipment for half its price;
Contests are restricted in the number of tries you make;
You have to search for the facilities with the cargo that you need by yourself;
You are not able to skip forwards in time.
On top of these, I have also added the following rules:
No mods;
Only solo gameplay, no co-op / multiplayer;
Region must be 100% complete before starting the next region;
Regions must be executed in the standard Snow Runner sequence;
Only vehicles native to the region may be purchased/deployed in that region.
