We Found a Hidden Petroglyph Ledge in Sedona 🌵 | Red Rock ASMR Hike

Come wander quietly through the magnificent red rocks of Sedona, Arizona with me. This Hot Blonde Mining Field Trip is mostly ASMR: footsteps on stone, wind moving through the canyon, birds overhead, red sandstone stretching into the distance, and the wonderful silence that happens when you get far enough away from everything else. There is no rush on this hike. We wander. We look at the geology. We follow the landscape. And then… we find something extraordinary. Tucked away on a secluded rock ledge are petroglyphs carved into the stone. Their location is remote enough that standing there feels less like arriving at a destination and more like accidentally stepping into a message from another time. Who stood here? Who made these marks? What did this landscape look like when they did? And how many years has the wind been moving across this same piece of stone? I don’t know how long it has been since someone last stopped at this particular ledge. But for a few quiet moments, we get to stand there too. No touching. No disturbing. No taking anything. Just observing, appreciating, and leaving the place exactly as we found it. For that reason, I am intentionally not sharing the precise location of this petroglyph site. Some treasures are better protected than collected. Put on your headphones, turn up the natural sound, and come wander the red rocks with me. 🌵 HOT BLONDE MINING FIELD TRIPS Mining history • Geology • Ghost towns • Unexpected discoveries • Mostly ASMR ⛏️ Hot Blonde Mining Digging Dirt.
