'The Amazing Race': Cody and Jaime on the secret message Phil Keoghan sent their sick mother

Before Cody Langlois and Jaime Tribo were officially cast on 'The Amazing Race' Season 39, Phil Keoghan sent their mother a secret video message. "'We just met your kids, and you did such a good job raising them,'" the siblings tell Gold Derby exclusively, paraphrasing what the host and producer said to their sick mom. "'It was a pleasure meeting them, and we wish you all the success with your disease.'" Flash-forward to today, and their mother is "heartbroken" at seeing her kids eliminated from 'The Amazing Race,' they reveal. Watching Cody and Jaime bicker each week brought them all back to childhood when she would lovingly threaten, "'If you guys don't get it together right now, I'm going to pull this car around.'" Also in our exit interview (watch above), Cody and Jaime explain why they're rooting for Daisha Wilks and Dalton Hamby to win the $1 million prize, and why they are actively rooting against Erin Taylor and Javi Vintimilla.
