‘MECCA, MEDINA…’: Houthis Drop BOMBSHELL Warning To Foreign Airlines Amid Saudi Airport Attacks

Yemen’s Houthis have warned international airlines to suspend operations to Saudi airports and avoid the kingdom’s airspace as their confrontation with Riyadh intensifies. Ansarallah military spokesperson Yahya Saree reiterated the warning under what the group calls an “airport for airport, blockade for blockade” equation. The Houthis say Saudi aviation infrastructure could become potential targets while military operations and restrictions against Yemen continue. They have identified airports serving Mecca and Medina as exceptions to their declared targeting policy. The warning follows repeated attacks on Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport that have disrupted flights and forced carriers to reconsider operations. Kuwait Airways has already cancelled services between Kuwait City and Riyadh amid the security situation. Saudi Arabia, meanwhile, has been striking Houthi positions and suspected launch sites in Yemen. The latest Houthi warning seeks to extend pressure beyond the battlefield by raising the perceived risk for airlines, passengers and Saudi Arabia’s international aviation network. #houthis #saudiarabia #riyadh #yahyasaree #yemen #riyadhairport #saudiairspace #mbs #aviation #saudihouthi Times Of India (TOI) Is The Largest Selling English Daily In The World.
