Local Thai Markets & Street Food In UBON RATCHATANI 🇹🇭

We made it to Ubon Ratchatani, our final destination in Isan Thailand! I start the video off showing the stunning views from our £10 a night hotel terrace before going downstairs to show you 'malai' the cutest Hotel dog ever. We were staying literally across the road from the local fresh Market here in Ubon Ratchatani we couldn't be staying anywhere better. We headed over the road for a walk around the market and met some super kind thai people and tried a few things! We got some grilled sticky rice and covered it in a local sauce which we then found out to be fermented fish sauce based, was tasty but a shock hahah! Grabbed some quick stir fried dishes in the market because a lot of the good food stalls were shut today! We went out again for the sunset over the Ubon Ratchatani riverfront, on the way there I nearly got attacked by a dog but luckily it was on a strong chain!! We jumped on the local songthaew for only 10 baht each out of the city to a public park called 'nong bua' here we wandered around and just soaked in local life for a while. Next we crossed over from the park to look at a beautiful gold and white pyramid styled pagoda called 'wat phra that nong bua' this place really was absolutely stunning. One of our subscribers Benjy told us to drink a Singha beer so we grabbed one from the shop and dedicated it to them before hitting up a local Thai Street Food Night Market out of the city. This market in Ubon Ratchatani was called Sunee Night Market and was extremely popular even on a Thursday. We had a strange century egg snack to keep our bellies happy and it was delicious as always here in Thailand. We then finished off the night with a typical Isan feast so we got laab moo, nam Tok moo, a fiery papaya salad and some sticky rice & coconut waters. There is no better last meal in Thailand than this 🇹🇭 Sadly this is the last video from our Thailand series, we've spent 45 days in the country and had an absolute blast we will be back plenty more times.
