Day9 Post9 Aarohanam Rendition Karthik

"Sri Chamundeshwari Palayamam" is a majestic carnatic composition set in the joyful Bilahari ragam and Adi talam. Composed by the legendary Mysore Vasudevacharya, the song is a powerful prayer pleading with Goddess Chamundeshwari—the presiding deity of Mysore—for protection and grace. The lyrics beautifully praise her as the slayer of the demon Mahishasura and the compassionate mother of the universe, making it a masterpiece celebrated for both its deep devotion and technical brilliance. Today this Krithi is rendered so well by Shri Karthik Kashyap from Stuttgart. Please do enjoy this rendition! #Dasara #Navaratri #Navakalaarohanam-2026 #aarohanamgermany #aarohanam_germany
