TESTING A NEW PROTOTYPE JIG at San Clemente Island!

We made the run out to San Clemente Island with Randy, Lane, and Teddy with two goals in mind: put a brand-new prototype jig to the test and track down some yellowtail. We spent the day searching for yellowtail and putting the new jig through its paces, trying to figure out what the fish wanted and where they were holding. After putting in the work for the yellows, we switched gears and started targeting calico bass around the island. The calicos kept us busy with steady action and some quality fish mixed in. It was an awesome day of exploring, testing new gear, and getting after it at San Clemente Island. There's still plenty to learn about this new prototype, but the island definitely gave us some valuable feedback. More to come on this one!
