Kids See Real Snow for the 1st Time | Underrated Gem, Alpensia Resort | Intercontinental | Korea

Finally, we brought Maurice and Kayleigh to see and feel real snow. We picked Korea because it is not so far from Malaysia, in terms of distance and perhaps culture and food too. It is also arguably the more affordable too. Our journey starts at the Incheon Airport. Our flight was delayed for 5 hours and we only arrived at 6am in the morning. Since we knew that it would be quite tiring to travel to Alpensia upon arrival (another 3.5 hour drive) so we had booked a night at the Airport hotel, Best Western Premier for everyone to catch some sleep. The Hotel was about RM380 per night. We also booked private transfer to Alpensia, it was about RM1500 for 3.5 hours. Finally, the Room cost at Intercontinental Alpensia was about RM1300 per night. There are plenty of convenience stores and restaurants in Alpensia, so there's no need to worry about splurging to much on food. There wasn't a lot of snow on the day that we arrived, but thankfully, snow started falling at night. Seeing a snow covered surrounding was truly magical.
