And not only was this a great journey, but I got an added bonus of catching an R68A (N) Train towards 96 St following this ride. This set was interesting because it used to be assigned to Coney Island Yard in years past, but they moved it up to Concourse Yard for a few years, including here when more ex-Pitkin R46 sets got sent over to Coney Island Yard temporarily before they retired. As we speak, there are only 400 R46 sets in mainline service so time is running out on those cars. But yeah, I’m very excited about the new cars that will enter service on the (D) very very soon because it will provide a pleasant experience and it’s been a long time since the (D) got an upgrade. So yeah, before we swap the (F) and (M) Train's routes and before we get new cars on this route, I hope you guys enjoy this one through The Bronx, Manhattan and Brooklyn.
