Habakkuk 3:1-19

We close out our study of Habakkuk with chapter 3—the prophet's response of praise after wrestling with perplexity and perspective. When Habakkuk is trembling with fear and every circumstance has fallen apart—no fruit on the vine, no herd in the stall—he still declares, "yet I will rejoice in the Lord," and this message unpacks what that kind of faith looks like when God gives no explanation, only a call to wait. Using the picture of a dry creek bed, a child begging "do it again," and even a story about pilots flying blind, we're challenged to ask: who am I serving, what am I looking at, and who am I trusting while I wait on God?
