Finding the Local Maximum/Minimum Values (with Trig Function)

This video focuses on how to apply the First Derivative Test to find relative (or local) extrema points. In particular, I show students how to make a sign chart for the first derivative to find the relative minimum and maximum points of a trig function. Also, I teach how to analyze the sign chart of the first derivative to determine if the critical points can be categorized as relative minimum or maximum.
