Supporting refrigeration skills with Meta Glasses

Arcus is using Meta glasses within our refrigeration team to support on-the-job learning and real-time technical guidance. The technology allows colleagues on site to share what they are seeing, hands-free, with experienced engineers who can guide them through technical challenges remotely. This helps developing engineers build confidence, apply their learning in live environments and reach productive delivery sooner. It also supports efficiency by reducing unnecessary van rolls where guidance can be provided virtually. The trial forms part of our wider investment in developing technical skills from within and exploring technology that supports our people and the customers they serve.
